Mountain City Meat Company is in the process of doubling our steak cutting capacity. We are remodeling our steak cutting area and are adding additional, high-speed steak cutting equipment.
We process both fresh and frozen portion cut steaks cut from graded fed and aged raw material. As we do on ground beef, we offer a custom cut program on our steak products. We individually vacuum pack our steaks in an easy-open, easy-separation film.
Mountain City Meat Company produces a large variety of steak products in various grades and sizes. We also offer custom cut programs with our new savory seasoned steak product line to meet each customers specific requirements.

- MCMC recently introduced a new packaging process. Using new Dixie vacuum packaging equipment, we have introduced a new EASY OPEN / EASY TEAR FILM. You can now easily separate steaks because of the newly added perforated seams on the package. The perforated seam allows you to tear between individual steaks without compromising the remaining package and steaks. The Dixie vacuum packaging provides a better vacuum seal, which can help maintain product quality.
- MCMC will soon start on the expansion of our steak cutting facility that will allow us to double our steak cutting capability. The new processing lines will be state of the art and fully automated.
